The configuration of the variable cross-section channel allowed reflectionless propagation of internal waves in the ocean
A. V. Bagaev1, E. N. Pelinovsky2
Annotation | Mathematical problem discussed in the paper is about determination of configuration of variable-cross-section channels that allow so-called reflectionless propagation of internal waves in the ocean. The problem is reduced to searching for bounded solutions of ordinary second-order differential equation with two unknown functions. It is shown that such solutions exist, and they are obtained in explicit form. |
