Study free vibrations of mechanical objects with moving boundaries using asymptotical method

AnnotationThe generalized method of using the asymptotical method for the study of free oscillations of mechanical objects with moving boundaries is developed. Asymptotical method is extended to a wider class of boundary value problems, which in the case of fixed boundaries can be solved by separation of variables. As an example free vibrations of a beam of variable length are studied. The comparison with the results obtained using the Kantorovich-Galerkin are produced.
