On a nonlinear initial-boundary value problem in the aerohydrodynamics

P. A. Velmisov1, A. V. Krupennikov2

AnnotationIn this paper we study irrotational isentropic flows of an ideal gas which are described by nonlinear partial differential equation for the velocity potential. To this equation it is given the solution set used for describing gas flows between rotating planes. The exact solution to the investigated problem is found in case of several definite laws of plane motion. On arbitrary laws of plane motion it is given the Bubnov-Galerkin method for numerical solution.
